Maureen and Pat's All-White Autumn Wedding in Gimli
When the fall months strike, I usually feel two things simultaneously:
1) Incredible sadness that summer is on it's way out.
2) Energized excitement for buying school supplies (a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils, anyone?) and warmth.
I can dig a fall colour palette, when it's done well -- you know, mature tones of ochre, gold, and rust, and not Crayola oranges and yellows -- but when Maureen contacted me just a few short weeks before their fall wedding, with a request for simple, all-white blooms, I was excited!
Their all-white autumn wedding was in Gimli, and they took care of all the decor themselves. It turns out so pretty, though, that I had to share some of this pics, too! Photos by Xandra Photography.
